Each stool has been expertly crafted in Morocco's cultural capital of Fez, from dried woven palm leaves and bay laurel wood, native to the region. In fact, you can almost smell the rich, peppery aromas of the bay leaves infused into each piece.
In trueFew and Farstyle, no two Moroccan Stools will be exactly alike, as each piece of laurel has been hand-selected for its unique tone and form. Our artisans then smooth each branch by hand using centuries-old techniques and antique wood planers. The care, patience and precision needed to craft these beautiful stools is palpable and working with these talented makers is something that we will always cherish.
